COURSE OVERVIEW
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries on an elevating work platform (EWP).
It applies to those working in operational roles. They generally work under supervision to undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and take responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.
Licensing, legislative and certification requirements that apply to this unit can vary between states, territories and industry sectors. Users must check requirements with relevant body before applying the unit.
This unit requires a person operating an EWP to:

plan for the work/task

prepare for the work/task by installing the EWP

perform work/task
-
pack up
COURSE DURATION
This is a one (1) day course.
Consists of theory and practical assessments.
Nominate and have approved by Northern Territory Training Services a suitable workplace to conduct training and assessment with all required resources.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to apply for a licence you must:.

successfully complete the pre -enrolment and LLN assessment.
